| Kai Erik Bredholt was
born in 1960 in Copenhagen, Denmark. He has an apprenticeship as boat-builder. He began as a folk-musician playing in the streets and in popular cabarets. His studies include extensive exposure to various genres of European traditional and folk music, especially those of Denmark and Greenland. He joined Odin Teatret in 1990, first as a musician/composer, later as an actor and organiser/director of barters and transformances (theatricalisation of a specific social milieu). Since 1992 he is a member of ISTA (International School of Theatre Antropology) ensemble.
